Challangayam is situated in the Badoor village of puthige panchayat
near Dharmathadka. This school started in 1933 and got approval in
1938. And
Clasessfrom
1 to 5.Later Fifth standard was demolished. Now it is under Muslim
Jamayath committee challangayam.After completing 4th
standard some pupil is forced to go G.H.S.S Heroor or
G.H.S.S.Angadimugar has to cover a distance 13 kilometres. The
adjustment school at Dharmathadka is kannada medium and is of no use
of pupil of Challangayam whose mothertongue is Malayalam. As
linguistic minority area the pupilis is
thirsty for upgrading this school for better educational development.
Now the school is running in agood condition In2014-2015
accadamic year83 students are studying and five teachers are working
in this school.
